Space to grow you own fruit & veg

We’re now coming into our third season with Roots and have had such an amazing experience. Like all the positive reviews prior, we get seeds, plugs, compost etc, and a wonderful wholesome community to be part of. Every year our soil is getting richer, more fertile, full of nature. Ladybirds in abundance helping us keep pests away. Succulent strawberries, delicious potato’s, amazing brassicas to name a few and it’s all organic!

I’m apart of the roots bath family and it is absolutely incredible ❤️Everyone I’ve met so far are kind and helpful especially including the team members. I love the movement to get more boaters an allotment as without one we wouldn’t be able to grow (only in little pots on our boat!).They have a refreshing ethos and I loved seeing that it was a no dig site 🌱I will always be thankful to have my allotment space as it allows me to be social with the community, and also distress while tending to my patch.So thank you ❤️

Before I joined Roots I was completely clueless when it comes to growing things from seeds! I have a starter patch which is 3m x 4m. I have now successfully grown and harvested a number of fruit and veg since joining a couple of years ago.For the price of the membership, I am always amazed at what Roots offer to us.There are so many classes included with the membership, you get loadsa seeds and plant plugs, someone always seems to be free for a chat, there is a plethora of advice on their online portal and the site is beautiful!

We subscribed for our Stourbridge Root plot back in winter and from day one we have been supported through this new adventure. The Team is dynamic, always available and lots is already happening as Community events. Everything is provided which is unique and amazing eg. Tools, plants, seeds, compost,.. The ethos behind the whole project is super respectful of the Earth and the environment. The team is creating links through the whole wider Community of people working with the land and the well of knowledge and enthusiasm carries you along!Come along and see by yourself this bee hive where all generations are creating beauty!

Amazing initiative, ace culture, smooth operations.We’ve loved our first year being Roots members, the access to benefits, free workshops, plug plants etc are just some of the things we really love about them. This coupled with genuinely lovely team trying to do some good for people, community environment are why we hope to stay members for years to come.Liv
